Newseum Opening: Countdown

The Newseum is opening in four months and two days! With seven levels of exhibits and a 1.5-mile internal exhibit path, visitors can experience the "power of the First Amendment and the critical role a free press plays in a free society" through 15 theaters, two broadcast studios and 14 galleries.

You can learn more about the Newseum through it's recent Annual Report or by checking out some of the information on our Web site.

Personally, I can't wait to try out the Interactive News Gallery where visitors can play the role of a reporter...but that might also be because I have already gotten to play with many of the interactives — "Be a Reporter" and "Be a Photographer" games, a "Build an E-card" kiosk (this would be the one I most recently finished developing), and an awesome 4D movie experience. I got to preview the movie's rough cut last week and it was terrific!

More to come as we count down to October 15!!!

Well, so much for opening on October 15. It looks like the construction company is delaying this one. As soon as I know, I will update.
