"Squirt" Guns

Slate.com took a look at "Top Gun" for your backyard.

For any other water war aficionado like myself, this was not only the highlight of my day but also a great review (with video and all) of what has become of the measly squirt guns that I grew up with.

Slate.com reviewed six water guns: Hornet, Spin Blaster, Sneak Attack, Tarantula, Arctic Blast and Stream Machine. They lightheartedly poke fun at these names...I mean, when I was a kid it was a squirt fun that shot about 5 feet if that...and your choices were red, blue or green. But today's water weapons are ranked on Strength, Ease of Use, and Fun and range in price from $4.99 to $19.99 and higher I'm sure. Do they even sell little rinky-dink water guns anymore?
