my thoughts on AIR

I got to go to the Adobe AIR Bus Tour in "Washington, D.C." yesterday. It was very interesting because it seems like this app will be able to do a great deal. However, I also just wonder sometimes what users want. AIR will be great for desktop publication and terrific for widgets...but what else?

Being the geek I am, I can't wait to get my hands into this. I want to build a cool widget to display Front Pages for the Newseum on a user's computer or maybe just something funny for my friends...dunno yet.

But wait...that is going to require AS3. D'OH! Will be playing catch up on that this weekend if I get the chance. Go Flash Go!
